A Good Weekend

We had a great visit with Skip's parents this past weekend. We got to see some beautiful fall foliage at Pine Mtn State Park and Cumberland Gap National Park. It was nice just to catch up and let Benjamin enjoy playing with his grandparents. We also took some supplies donated by a church in MS to the UMC Henderson Settlement in Frakes, KY. This is a multifunctional ministry in Eastern KY that provides everything from food, clothing, and after-school tutoring to activities for senior citizens. They have green houses and orchard as well as cattle and pigs which they use to raise money as well as to provide food for folks at a much discounted rate. Overall it seems like a cool ministry. This coming weekend we head to West Virginia to visit my sister Rachel and her family. Can you say COLD?!
