27 weeks and counting
Hard to believe we're almost to the 28 week mark of this pregnancy. Baby Little is getting quite active particularly when Mama Little tries to sleep at night. Overall I continue to feel great physically and have managed not to fall down the stairs again! I'm even enjoying the dorky prenatal workout video I bought. Nothing like trying to "salsa" with a giant belly. Benjamin continues to be blissfully unaware of how much his world is about to change. But he seems to like babies in general, has a very helpful personality, and knows that Mama and Dada are talking a lot about a "baby brother".
Benjamin has two new favorite activities: sitting on his potty (clothed) and reading a toy catalog as well as standing up in a chair watching/helping Dada or Mama cook. He also loves his miniature kitchen set which Dada got for him. He has stove, sink, utensils, pots/pans, fake food, cans, even condiments. He thinks he's way cool when he and Dada cook together in the kitchen. His kitchen even has a pop-up toaster! The best part is that Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and Elmo help out too! His favorite cooking technique is to add "sauce" from his pretend ketchup bottle (typical southerner). He is an awesome and extremely funny little boy. Oh, and his favorite new word is a very sweet, somewhat drawn-out "no". Great. At least he's not screaming it...yet.
